I've been using this to groom my Australian Shepherd's long fur. The blades really do a great job cleaning up his fluffy paws and keeping his sanitary area and tail, which drags on the ground, neat. It's quiet enough that it doesn't freak him out, and he doesn’t mind the vacuum when I’m using the brush to thin out his coat. I love how it sucks up all the fur right away, and having the vacuum on while I trim helps a lot because it pulls the fur closer to the blade for a nice tidy cut on his front legs. This thing is a total win for a furry dog! But I definitely wouldn’t try it on my cat—she would totally hold a grudge against me!
I bought this to groom our golden doodle, and it's fantastic! The price is awesome, and it does a great job! Plus, it's super quiet!
OMG, where have you been all my life?! This tool is seriously incredible. You know, the biggest hassle of having a dog is all that shedding! I've only used it once, and look at all this fur I got! Just imagine all this would have been stuck in my carpet, on the furniture, or all over my clothes! Plus, my dog absolutely loves it when I use it on him!
This is a total game changer! Let me tell you, grooming my two Yorkie and Shih Tzu mixes used to be a complete mess. My pups aren’t fans of the groomers or being groomed at all, and using shears was just a hassle. But all the tools in this set are awesome—they literally just suck up the dog hair as you’re trimming, and if you happen to drop any, you can just clean it up right away. It’s not super loud, but it does make some noise (which my dogs aren't thrilled about). They really don’t like the sound of vacuums or carpet cleaners, so it’s understandable. The storage canister is a good size, but sometimes I have to empty it more than once while grooming, depending on how much hair they have. Fortunately, the last time I only had to do it once. I’ve told so many fellow pet owners that this is a must-have!
It worked amazingly well for my Pyrenees! Then I got a Cockapoo puppy, and it works perfectly for him too! It's nice and quiet, doesn’t overheat, and the best part? It didn’t frighten the puppy at all, plus I didn't end up covered in dog hair!
